Bio

I paint because it grounds me—and at the same time, it sets me free. Nature is my biggest inspiration, especially water. I’m drawn to its movement, its unpredictability, its depth. Whether it’s flowing water or an animal in motion, there’s always a sense of energy in my paintings. I think that’s what I’m chasing—a feeling of life within the work.

I use acrylic paint because it lets me move fast, follow instinct, and build up layers that reflect that movement. Blues are my go-to—cool, calming, full of emotion—and I pair them with earthy tones to keep things rooted. There’s a tension between stillness and motion that I try to hold in every piece.

What mesmerizes me most is the transformation—from a blank canvas to something alive. The fact that I can create something beautiful from nothing still amazes me. Every painting feels like a quiet kind of magic.

Art runs in my family. My mom was an artist, and her work had this honesty that stuck with me. She taught me not just how to paint, but how to look—really look—at the world around me. That gift shaped how I see, how I create, and how I share what moves me.

Painting is how I stay connected—to nature, to memory, and to myself.
